Anyone done the ski weekends .com overnight coach trip?
I normally drive overnight but as i can only get a short trip in thios year I was thinking about doing a coach trip.
They are offering catered brides les bains for £300, or am I better off driving and finding a hotel?
Ta
Used them a few times, great value for money. Things to be aware of;
They advertise 3 days skiing - if all goes totally plan you will arrive in Brides Les Bains in time for first lift. BUT
I think I ahve only made first lift once out of about 8 trips with them, slightest traffic etc and you may well lose half a day.
Do you realise BLB is a 30 minute Gondola ride from Meribel, so even catching first lift in BLB it will be 10am before you get to ski - likewise you will need to get the lift back down to BLB so need to be back at the chaudanne by 4:45ish
Just things to be aware of, still great value for money IMO
Where you setting out from? And does £300 include a lift pass?
You could have a week in Austria with flights for £50 more (+ lift pass n top of that).
Cheers guys
thanks for the info

We are based in Surrey
They pick up at victoria london or at a services at maidstone
No doesn't include passes i know I can get a week for a bit more but time is the problem this year
That's alot of money to not be in a ski resort, and not have a lift pass included!
Hmmm Maybe I can book a coach and sort the rest myself...

Depends really, for me the amount of skiing I can get in for one day off work makes it pretty amazing value.
Only way I think you could do similar for less is if you can get 4 of you in a car but then somebody has to drive overnight.
I've used them twice.
Lack of sleep has been a mild inconvenience both times, and the second time it took 17 hours to get to Morzine.
I would say try it, it's an experience, but I won't ever be experiencing it again.
Also, Easyjet flights, cheap transfers and a chalet might not cost much more.
My brother used to work for them, decent outfit.
Only things to be slightly wary of (and as already mentioned) the possibility of losing half a day on the slopes in the event of traffic hell and the risk of not getting much of a kip if your fellow travellers are purveyors of 'epic banter' 😆
