Can you get this?

I have travel insurance, including worldwide and hazardous activities but one single item is covered up to a maximum of £300 for baggage/personal belongings.

I don't have (M&S) contents insurance as I live in rented accommodation so didn't see the point.

Any recommendations?

I was looking for this recently, but combined with travel insurance, so maybe not be appropriate for you. I got insurance via Snowcard which I found was the only place I could get travel insurance and specifically insure my bike to a realistic amount. Dogtag only insured single item inc bike up to £200 ish. Dogtag did suggest I try Cycleguard though for bike insurance, so maybe they can do a single trip.

Cheers Anna, as you stated Dogtag only seem to insure bike up to £200 which is less than my current policy.

I'll see what Snowcard are quoting and take a look at Cycleguard.

Snowcard cover £40ish for the week inc bike up to £2000 for me. Not too bad..... Cycleguard were a lot for one years bike insurance but thought they might do a short trip for you.
