I have a heap of short clips of my kids on my phone, my wife has some as well. I would like to be able to join them together into one so that they can be saved and watched as a record of their growing up.
I've no experience of editing videos so a user friendly package would be great, also ideally a free one 🙂
The phones are iPhones, I have those , an iPad and a Dell laptop at my disposal for doing this, can anyone recommend suitable software etc?

A Windows laptop will have some version of Microsoft Movie Maker either on it or available by free download.

+1 for Windows Movie Maker. It'll do exactly what you just said, really easily, and obviously.
