That looks more dangerous than the TT. Needs the mountains, trees and ground taken away for some decent run-off, or banned.

That's that roadies say about Mtb though don't they...

Looks like a huge rush, massive risk though and I do wonder what happens when it goes wrong and the poor folk who pick up the pieces. No room for crashing, insane learning curve.

My mate does this, sent me a picture of him jumping off the Jungfrau. Wild.

Memorising your line looks crucial.

There's a great channel 4 documentary about a Base jumper. At one point he says (of base jumping and wing suits) that people either make a decision to quit the sport, or they die doing it. IIRC he'd decided to quit when he had a family but but the lure was too great so he restarted. His friend made the same choice and died during a jump gone bad. Sobering stuff, but it looks like an amazing rush.

Heard the story of one guy in a similar documentary. Him and his mate were doing a jump/flight where they were both going to pass under a bridge.

He ended up passing under the bridge whilst being showered by little bits of his mate who had misjudged the approach. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

It's an all or nothing pursuit.

Same guy as the first vid:

I think I saw the same one. I seem to recall the suggestion was that he wouldn't have misjudged it and his friend thought it was deliberate.

Seriously seriously insane

The guy who hit the bridge cable had his leg ripped off (it's on video). Very small margins for error, given the speeds and lack of real control (imo)
