Are they any specialist car insurance companies that provide short term cover, i.e for 2 months or will any insurance company off this type of cover?
I only need cover for January & February.

I needed cover for an "extra" car for a week - had it added on to one of our existing policies for a not-unreasonable sum
If you have no existing policy then I'd call a broker and ask - we use Chris Knott or Greenlight mostly

Try your current insurers website, the one I was using 2 years ago (possibly Admiral but not sure) let me do this really easily and for a pretty good price.
Direct Line added another car onto my policy for a few weeks, try yours assuming you have insurance already?
