[Closed] servicing my avid juicys for the first time myself! what are the steps? 🙂

hi, iv decided im going to service my avid juicys for the first time myself but i dont know were to start with it - so i was wondering if anyone knew were i could find step by step instructions to help me bleed them etc in the right way and help me service them!:) i was also wondering what (this is going to sound really stupid lol) the 'juice' actually is? is it just brake fluid or does it have to be a special bike oil? so yer, any help will be really appreciated!

The instructions are really clear, take your time to do it properly and be prepared to do it twice if you dont do it right the first time. I keep the wheels on but use an old set of worn pads incase they get contaminated. Check out youtube too for decent how-to vids

Step 2: Open bin
Step 3: Put Juicys in bin
Step 4: Close bin and live a hassle free life with some new brakes that actually work.

I bought a bleed kit from these guys and it was easy! www.bleedkits.co.uk cheapest I could find as well

Bleeding brakes isnt that difficult once you've got the hand of but it is quite tricky the first time.

Also even though I've done it a million times I still find it a real chore. I think because 1 you cant stop once you've started 2 there is the potential to make a real mess.

So I dont expect to enjoy at all.
