I need to send a large file - just under 1 Gb - can someone recommend a service that doesn't need a sign-up, has no nasty suprises?

Can the recipent receive files that large ? some businesses I email to often ask me to break files into 'smaller' files.

You can use winrar or winzip to create a multi part archive.

Basically splitting the file up into smaller pieces to send. The recipient can then extract the file as long as they have the program used to create the archives.

7-zip will also do this and is free!
