Rickrolling has just been taken to new highs. Or lows, depending how you view it.

Probably equally as effective as bombing the crap out of them, so why not give it a go? We could always go nuclear and point them at a Sinitta video.

Personally, I think we should bomb them with industrial quantities of kittens, or bunnies, or flowers.

Would totally funk with their tiny minds. 😀

lull them into a false sense of security with a couple of irritating rickrolls, wind it up to a leekspin and then meatspin em till their IT department close them down.

Seems quite sensible actually.

If you're the average disenfranchised youth in the UK you probably quite relish an argument with authority, so posting up alternatives to IS or blocking the sites isn't going to work, it just makes it more cool. A bit like the one crappy flash based game site that got through your schools IT firewall in the 90's.

Openly mocking it with Rick Astley on the other hand? The reductio ad absurdum of "never argue with idiots, they'll only drag you down and beat you with years of experience"?

Anonymous should concentrate on changing the color schemes of any of their sites to pink, that might make them seem less cool to visitors...

Just offer a lifetime supply of free bacon sandwiches* to the ISIS fighters and a slightly used TOWIE virgin, and they'd surrender in droves.

Don't know why no one else has thought of this.

*Kosher, of course.

(yes, I know...)

Weaponised pop. They don't call them the Hit Factory for nothing. Although I seem to have a spare letter 'S' here.

It was a shame for Rick - with a voice like that at his young age he deserved better. That song was always a bit Trapped :
