More appalling than the guy's singing, was the reaction of the bouncers. A classic example of using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. No way would that have happened in Britain.
Still, the guy was lucky that he was just a bad singer - and not a Muslim held in Guantanamo Bay.
I'm an ex-doorman and you can spend ages talking to someone to calm them down and let them walk out. Some won't and you have to escort them out in some manner. That manner depends on how the individual reacts. That guy wanted the attention (which he now has got) and wasn't going to leave at all. Not sure what happened behind the screens and wether he deserved to be cuffed, I don't know. The way they walked him off the "stage" was how I would have done it!

Well this certainly wasn't a case of 'spending ages talking to someone to calm them down'. From Cowels comment at the end, it would appear that the whole incident was over in a few seconds. Of course it would have been even quicker, if they had shot him with a gun and dragged him out by his ankles.
And of course this was in a TV studio - not a nightclub.
