We've just had a new 'timber outbuilding*' built with a concrete floor. Any recommendations for products to paint the floor with? It won't have a car in it so just pedestrian use but obviously we want something to last and preferably something easy to apply.

Cheers.

*aka a glorified shed.

I used this 4 or 5 years ago:

Then painted 2 coats of this :

Choose your colour.

Holding up well in a well used home workshop area.

Used this three years ago in our new garage. Holding up well ...with the exception of one patch where I unknowingly spilled some alkaline degreaser - the paint softened overnight and wiped away the next day...

Watered down PVA as a first seal followed by any garage floor paint.

There’s plenty of choice of colour out there.
Resist the temptation to do it too quickly though. Fresh concrete takes a surprisingly long time to cure (weeks and months), and your patience will be rewarded with a better and longer lasting result with lest dusting.

Don't do garage floor paint. Do a two part epoxy if you can. I did floor paint 6 years ago and it's not looking good even after pretty good preparation. I'm certainly not going to repaint it now it's covered in stuff...

Screwfix/Leyland garage floor paint worked well for me. It does need fairly warm weather though, now the temperatures have dropped it could take absolutely ages to cure properly.

Would probably go for something like Resincoat https://www.resincoat.co.uk/en/5-floor-paint - it's ok to apply down to 7 degrees.

It might be worth putting some kind of metal mesh down so when they do the ground scanning , they can't see the skeletons...

Leveling compound leaves a nice dust free floor, easy and fast just buy an extra bag or two usually nned more than estimated.

something like  https://www.screwfix.com/p/mapei-ultimate-leveller-1210-self-levelling-floor-compound-20kg/4377v

I'll second Regal.
Brush the floor, then again and again. I used the sealer and a paint coat.

Don't use a cheap roller and broom handle you'll be forever picking bit of roller out the floor.

If I ever do it again I'll also buy some proper shoe spike things and not some screw in a board taped to me trainers.
