It used to work all the time, but for a month or so Oruxmaps tracking has stopped mid-adventure,for no reason, on my Samsung S24. Switching location on and off or restarting the phone often gets it working again, but thats no help if i dont know how i got to where I am.
It has affected Samsung Health app in the same way. Possibly since the last major update
The Samsung diagnostic on the phone shows no problem with the gps
I tried to reinstall oruxmaps on my old samsung s20, but it looks like the app has been abandoned.
Also I lost most of my waypoints somewhere
I really liked orux, I can put my own maps and tracks etc on it, all offline. what do others use? I cant go far until it all works properly

I haven't used Orux maps in years since I started using OSMAnd+, that does all the offline mapping and tracking that I need.
I use the paid version (one off, well worth it) but there's a free version if you want to test it out, it just has a limited number of map downloads
