Sausage and Pickle.
Chicken, chorizo and rocket.
Yum.

Except I'm off the bread, so all sandwiches are off the menu. Except on a naughty day!

Black cherry jam and peanut butter for me, although on the more savoury side you can't beat a good cheddar and pickle/chutney sandwich.

genuinely - give it a go

hot frying pan
dish with a bit of beaten egg in it - dip one side of a peice of bread in the egg and lay egg side down in the pan
put cheese, ham, banana and creme on top
then dip another slice of bread and put it on egg side up,

when the bottom slice is cooked flip the whole thing over

keep cooking til the cheese starts to melt

om-nom-nium

of for something a little less involving - fried egg, lettuce and a splash of tabasco sauce

some crackers there! keep them coming please.

i like the humous and olive idea, easy to make in the bleary eyed morning and quite portable too.

Tomorrow my sandwich will be

Thin slices of very rare rump beef, with tomato, lettuce, rocket, and looooaaaaaads of horseraddish. If i was not on a health kick it would also include brie...

Other favourites, Salmon and cucumber, pork and stuffing, chicken w salad and pesto. Cured meats in any combination with cheese.

cheese and marmalade is better - pretty much the only circumstances where I think marmalade tastes nice

Can you believe I was going to ask the same thing, having had tuna and sweetcorn mayo for the first time in ages today, instead of the ham and cheese salad that I've had for pretty much every day of my working life.

Chicken, chorizo and rocket

sounds mouth watering good.

My sign of a good sandwich is it should contain at least 2 forms of protein (not including the spread) and should need 2 hands to pick it up.

What, no Tommy K?

And I think you'll find the perfect sandwich involves pork sausages and crumbly Lancashire cheese.

Beef, tomato, spinach and spring onion in a warm, wholemeal pitta bread that's spread with green pesto. Also nice with chicken in place of the beef. 🙂
