Hopeing to do a half marathon Sunday ( http://meadowsmarathon.org.uk/site/), and kinda wanna do it in a costume.

Thinking of doing it in one of these;

But not sure yet. Think they have a wee battery powered fan to keep it inflated.

Anyway, anyone run in one of these/a similar inflatable costume before? How annoying was it? Head bob around loads? Do you get really sweaty in it (especially legs)? Does the fan use loads of battery juice?

Ta, Duane

I ran the great north run in 2000, by mile 11 I was knackered but when I got overtaken by a bloke running in a canoe he had cut leg holes in, I realised how lame I was being and upped my game. Do it.

Just try to avoid anything that chafes. Or use lots of Vaseline.
