Hi,
I am looking to rent a field for a party. Ideally in Derbyshire with ability to have small marquee, chemical loo and camping for tents and campervans for about 40 people.
Anyone any suggestions?
I have found this post from 4 years ago with a member (@midlifecrashes)suggesting somewhere but i am unable to message them.
The old post is: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/can-i-rent-a-field
Thanks for any pointers.

My sister's hired a field in Nottinghamshire for her wedding. Any good? Can't find the invite right now but can get the details if you're interested.
I doubt you'll find a rent-a-field.com website with a big range. You'll need to knock on doors and pick up the phone. We use quite a few fields for hobby events and it does involve some legwork. Some campsites have overflow fields other times a friendly farmer. Its also quite surprising how many private homes have a big field attached (although they may be less keen on a big party)
We hired out a scout camp in Leicestershire for our wedding, got the full use of the scout hall, nice clearing in the woods and camping facilities. Might be worth talking to your local scout group to see what they know.
Rent a campsite? That's what my sister in law just did for their wedding. All the facilities in place for caravans and camping. Stuck a big marquee up in the middle.
Down here in Devon we use the nearest driving range for parties, use of a permanent marquee and everyone just pitches their tents after last golfers have finished. Great party idea, as we all bring the kids who have a ball, then fry up in morning. Just an idea for you to try.
I'm from Derbyshire and know people with land if you need a hand.
just come up to scotland, find a field, plonk down a sound system, chuck up a gazeebo and go mental, it's the done thing! ๐
just make sure ye clean up after yer self! ๐

Look for camp sites that have rally fields....
