Cheers!

Saw her and a consultant, Mark Flannery, for my shoulder when I was down south

I don't know about shoulders but I've recently been to see Naomi at these guys in Godalming http://www.physio1to1.co.uk/ and am very happy. If you can manage a trip to Peaslake they even have a cycling specific offshoot.

cheers both. not specially bothered about cycling for the moment. think it's going to be the least problematic sport to get back into.

dmorts, I saw Mark Flannery yesterday. What was the problem with your shoulder?

If, by chance, it was a ACJ separation, please, step this way! http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/separated-shoulder-grade-34-surgery#post-7756568

Hi ned,

Not ACJ separation, I had a weird one with my shoulder. One day it just swelled up, became extremely painful and then I lost muscle function in most of my deltoid muscle. Turns out it was an autoimmune reaction where a nerve had been attacked by own immune system. I saw Mark Flannery privately and then was referred to Christine Arnold for physio. Seems they work together a lot.

Eventually most of my muscle function has returned and both Christine and Mark were a great help.
