Heading to Morocco in March for surf trip, distinct lack of estates available for hire so looking at a Kangoo or Partner people carrier.

Big question! Will my 9'2 longboard go in? Don't need to be able to drive it with it in just store it overnight etc. Will be taking roof tie downs for travel.

Phil

Probablys - if you can fold the passenger front seat down. Peugeot Partner (and Citroen Berlingo) old shape (up to 07ish) vans - rather than the car version max floor load length is 1700mm. The front passenger seats on the vans fold flat - not sure about the passenger carrying version.

Whats that in metres ? My Kangoo can take an object up to 1.9 metres in length with the death seat folded down. Sounds to me like you need a shorter surfboard.

Thats not a longboard. My 10 2 inhc foot 1963 Bilbos 30 pounders are long boards. And No I don't reckon yours would fit.

I got a 9ft 4 in a pug 306 hatch (front seat full forward, front seat back wound right down, rear seats down), board nose in footwell, about 2" off hatch

if you want a definitive answer I'll bee putting an 8ft6 in my new Berlingo this weekend (or if you're near Reading you can try)

gusamc - That would be great, i'm South Wales based so if your down this way give me a shout. Normally Porthcawl area local.
If you could see if the extra inches would fit it would be great 🙂

I used to get my 9'4" into a 504 estate no problem, think you may struggle in a Kangoo, wont fit in my Focus.
