Don't get me wrong, I love Frozen as much as the next dad and it was fun 'decorating' daddy's bike but now the stickers have spot welded themselves to the metal.

WD40 works quite well, if not hair dryer

Instead of getting the perpetrator birthday/Christmas presents, buy yourself a new bike. 😀
Or use nail varnish remover.

Autoglym Bug & Tar remover is excellent for removing helitape, it should be pretty good for what you need.

as with most questions, Isopropyl alcohol is the answer.

GT85 works well on most things - particularly road tar on the car.

Otherwise you can buy adhesive remover from the diy store.

No! Acetone can damage the surface of the paint on the bike. Isopropanol, WD40 or lighter fuel are best.
If you have to use acetone, (some adhesives are a bugger to dissolve/remove), try it first where it won't show, like inside the chain stays.

Trying to remember what is was on, but I remember baby oil being the secret to removing a particular adhesive.

*mirth*

That Sticky Stuff Remover in spray gel form left for about ten minutes will get it off no bother.

Don't use nail varnish remover unless you want to repaint the frame.

A few suggestions:

Tie a cloth soaked in warm soapy water around the frame and leave for a few minutes to soften the stickers and adhesive and then scrap off with something non-sratchy (nail, non-stick scourer etc)

Do the same with some kitchen towel sprayed with alcohol (IPA or vodka will do), WD40 or petrol/turps (smelly)

Look for a citrus label remover - handy stuff to have around and smells of oranges.

The WD40 is working a treat. I have to do it in stages so as she doesn't notice straight away.

Peanut butter.

Something in the palm oil dissolves the sticky stuff.

Leave it on for a few hours and then wipe it off.

Vinegar (the clear stuff, not the coloured type you put on chips) usually removes most sticker residue.

Shimano hydro brake fluid also has a potent cleaning power, but at your own risk...

Never found that...

IPA isn't a solution BTW 😉
