We will be in touch
Morning All,
My walking boots have given up the ghost after a few years abuse.
Has anybody got any recommendations for walking boots/shoes that don't cost the earth. Preferable lightweight.
Will be used for hill walking and general outside abuse
Thanks
The wife swears by her Hi Tecs, but I have funny feet so my Lowas are worth their weight in gold!
My Merrell Moab GTX have lasted years. I'm not sure how many years but it's at least five, with a lot of daily use. Great for hill walking, hiking and mountains where you don't have any large scree or bogland to get through.
I am a big exponent of AKU walking boots, comfiest walking boots I have ever worn straight out of the box. Like gloves for your feet.
sports direct have brashers for cheap(ish)
Merrel Moab shoes here, alongside Anatom fabric boots. Also have Hitec 3 season boots and Aku winter boots.
Old pair of Asolo for garden duty. All have been faultless.
Fill your boots!

Karrimor from Sports Direct. Decathlon stuff is their usual understated but functional kind of stuff as well.
Berghaus Explorer. I love my Bergies, four wheel drive for your feet.

Really though, it's something you need to try before you buy in a real shop. Your feet aren't my feet.
