Post skiing, I have a slightly dodgy knee (I always have a slightly dodgy knee, it's worse post-skiing). I used the other halfs compression/recovery socks on my calves whilst we were away and was quite impressed, and I'd like to get something similar but that will go over my knee.
I can find lots of things for calves, and lots of full compression tights, but I'm struggling to find anything in the middle. What I'm basically after is the compression equivalent of a cycling knee-warmer. Skinz seemed to do some, but they're not available on their website any more.
Any help?
I don't think you're going to find anything for knee compression because the knee is too bony - there's no muscle to compress. The Skinz things are just knee warmers. Possibly keeping the joint warm might help though? Otherwise you'd just be looking at some kind of athletic knee support, which you can get pretty much anywhere.
If you search for 'compression leg sleeves' you should find a few e.g. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/2xu-pwx-compression-leg-sleeves/
