I'm after a case for my iPad 3. I know exactly what I want but I can't find one suitable:
• I'm after a sleeve that the iPad slides firmly into.
• The inside of the sleeve should be suitably lined to avoid scratching the screen etc.
• The sleeve itself should be pretty stiff (possibly hard plastic) to protect the contents.
• The iPad should be secure inside with no possibility of falling out accidentally.
• It should be easily removable - by pulling a strap or some other mechanism.
• I definitely don't want anything that attaches to the iPad itself. I don't want to double the weight while using it; just protect it while I'm not.
This Belkin one is close:

but it just seems to be made of leather(ish). Ideally I want something stiffer and tougher so I can put the iPad in the case and just chuck it in my bag.
Any thoughts?
Am I allowed to plug the one from the company I work for? oh well here goes....
check out www.lifedge.co.uk
It may be a bit too much for your needs though...but it really is 100% waterproof (tested to 1m).
Hmm.. nice product. though "LifeEdge" - dangerously close to LifeProof no?
But that is very much what I don't want. I'm happy for it to be bare while I'm using it. I just want to protect it while it is in my bag.
This "hard" zipping sleeve looks interesting:

But it is difficult to tell how "hard" it is. I'd like something that can take a bit of a knock.
