It's been a while since I tried to listen to Virgin Classic Rock. It seems this has now become sh!te. Please recommend me a new decent rock radio station that I can listen to online.*
Cheers,
jon
* Yeah, I could listen to CDs if I wasn't packing up to move house...
Planet Rock gets my vote. Classic stuff (Rush, Van Halen, Marillion, Floyd, ZZ Top, Maiden, the mighty 'Smith and more) as well as some really good new bands (Like The Answer, Hovercraft Pirates, Porcupine Tree etc.)
Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that one. Cheers CFH.
try listening to the radio thru itunes , and try 98 rock i think you might like it 😉
I noticed that with Classic rock too.
After getting fed up with german metal stuff I stumbled on 1.FM - Blues, it's filed under blues on shoutcast but seems fairly 'rocky' to me, not what I thought blues was gonna be anyway.
Rock radio UK is not bad for classic stuff but I mostly listen to Rocket 95.1 (Huntsville, Alabama) - mostly current stuff with the odd classic thrown in 8)
I second Rock Radio. I'm lucky enough to have it as a local radio station - beats the pants off all the other shite.
