Hi,

I have a Virgin Anytime account and a Netflix acc The Virgin acc does not work at all here in France and the Netflix is limited, I'm told things will improve if I use a VPN.

Does anyone know of one that I could try, before signing up for a 12 month contract?

Thank you,

Ian

I have given up on accessing netflix on a vpn, netflix are blocking ip addresses faster than the providers can change them, if you are lucky you will get a couple of days working per fortnight (as of 2 months ago).

Oh ok, I will stick with Netflix through my Orange connection here then.

So what VPN for accessing my Virgin Anywhere acc in France on my iPad?

Create your own back at home. (I'm assuming you've got a home in the UK and are visiting France regularly?)

We are in Germany and use Channel Hopper. Its not a VPN so remembers passwords and is much more stable with less buffering.

I've used WiTopia for years and it's always been reliable and allowed me to access my VirginMedia TV Anywhere from all around the world. Not the cheapest but it does what it says on the tin, and on the odd occasion I've had an issue, support has been very responsive.

I have had good experience with Strong. I have not done a lot of market research though.
