After a two man (proper 2 man- so maybe a 'three' man) tent for up to 100 quid- as light as possible as for trekking / possibly cycle touring.....

I have a Vango Beta 350 3 person (don't know if they still make it) but it's not hugely light nor does it lack down very small. If you want something for trekking you'll be wanting as light as possible and for £100 you might struggle. I also have a 2 person Vango Banshee which packs up nice and small but you struggle to get much more than two people in it, all your gear would be in the very small porch bit or still attached to your bike.

These are light and pack down small, only used mine solo, would be cosy with two sharing, Wild Country Zephyros 2

I bought a Wild Country Zephyros 2 a couple of weeks ago, took it back to the shop the next day, it's not big enough for 2 adults to be comfortable in, let alone satisfy your spacious 2 man requirement.

The Vango Banshee 200 was another I considered in the shop, but it's much the same as the Zephyros size wise.

Have a look at the Wild Country Hoolie 2 - it's just over 2 kilos, good spec, 3 season and can be had for your budget HERE. Fly and inner pitch together, which is handy for wet weather pitching. I had a play in one in Tiso and it's a great wee tent, roomy for a 2 man and it's won some awards. They also do a 3 man for £40 (and 1kg) more which would be great for 2 people + lots of kit.

I ended up buying a Lightwave T2 Ultra, which is about the same size as my Terra Nova Super Quasar (i.e. huge for 2 people) and only weighs 2kg. Miles over budget though. If I hadn't needed a 4 season, I'd have probably bought the Hoolie.

Have a look at the Vaude Taurus maybe? Ive got one and its not the lightest thing out there but it goes up fast, is very stable, pretty roomy and you can leave the inner at home and pitch it as a tarp tent.

Banshee 300. I have the 200 and its not a 2 person, unless you're 'good friends' . The 3 person is a generous 2 man.

Vango Tempest 200?

i had a look at the Banshee 200 & the Tempest. The Tempest is a little heavier but roomier.

Just spent the week in it at Glastonbury & can't fault it..off to North Wales this weekend. Got it on a price match at Go Outdoors for about £80
