Looks very interesting. An app that translates languages in near real time.

Could this eventually turn in to a real life bablefish? In 5 or 10 years time, once the technology has matured, we could all be wearing a small device in ear to translate everything for us when we're on hols / business abroad.

Interesting to think what effect this could have on language, living / working abroad, or marrying someone whose language you don't speak. Apart from a core of people specialising in language conversion software, will anyone bother learning a foreign language?
