New house we've been living in for 10months has got a timber 16'x10'(I'll use imperial as people who deal with this stuff seem to prefer it) garage/shed.
Recent high winds have ripped a strip of felt the length of the roof off one side, and annoyingliy its the uppermost strip that laps nominal 4" over the ridge, so the next time it rains we will have a waterfall!
Currently the felt is stapled onto tongue and grooved timber boarding.
I thought clout nails were used usually and possibly a tar based adhesive on either ply or osb boarding.
What is the best way to re-felt?

When the felt went on my shed I fitted some corrugated bitumen sheeting on top of the existing felt. Marvellous stuff, easy to work with and will last years (Wickes stuff has a 15 year guarantee)

I'll make that my starting point.
Buy a roll of shed felt for about 8 quid, a 2.5 litre tin of felt adhesive for about the same and some heavy duty black marigold gloves from morissons.
