I've only ever used paypal for buying, my paypal is funded by my credit card. Today I received my first payment which shows in my paypal but not in my CC account. Will it show on monday or do I need to authorize it. is paypal kind of like another bank account?
Yes, paypal is like another account. The money will just sit there unless you tell Paypal to move it.
You need to "withdraw funds" which means firstly attaching a bank account. they will then send two small amounts of money to your bank account (a few pence). to verify the account, you need to check your bank account and tell paypal how much they paid in. That's your account verified and you can withdraw funds to your own bank account.
I don't think you can send money from paypal to a credit card.
Money coming into your PayPal account stays there until you spend it or withdraw it.
