say you're out of options cos you're booking late.

If you're packing your main luggage in with your ski/board bag, do you buy £27 sports equipment and the £11 luggage, or take your chances with the sports equipment add-on only?

Personally I'd add on the luggage to for peace of mind, it's not a huge cost and certainly cheaper/less hassle than having to buy it at the airport if they take exception to you having stuff other than skis in your other bag.

You can get away with just the bag allowance if your dimensions fit within the limits - a mate does this and even overweight has never had a problem. COuld be annoying if they didn't like it though...

I always put my boarding gear boots, outerwear, helmet etc. in my Dakine tour bag with my board & bindings, everything else goes into cabin bag. Never had any problems yet.
