Jazzer.

Where's that accent from? I think he got it from a 2nd hand "general purpose Scottish accent" bin in Birmingham.

Sounds a bit "River City" weegie occasionally.

I suspect it is probably quite a posh bloke affecting a working class accent.

My best guess is he's some six fingered freak from the East neuk of Fife. They all sound a bit weird round that way.

Most likely to be some posh kid from Morningside that went to Ekting Skool to learn to talk Scots like.

A quick google reveals the bloke is also blind.

Ryan (31) was born in Glasgow's Drumchapel housing scheme. One of his eyes was
missing and the other too poorly formed to allow him to see. Doctors warned his
mother he could also have other serious disabilities.

He is noted for this role, as it is unusual for a blind actor to play a sighted character. Obviously works better on radio, but I think he does it rather well.

Given that really only Eddie, Joe, clary and Edward Grundy have anything approaching the local accent. Even Bert's accent is from too far south of where it's set. Tom sounds like he's from the North West..!

He sounds like my ex husband, a Weegie with a speech impediment *shudders*

Has he sh*gged Fallon yet, I'm still catching up from before Christmas.

It's Weegie, but Weegie who has moved away for a few years.

What's a Weegie then? No, Fallon is still intact, and a bit worried.
