Or is it a bit too working class for STW ๐Ÿ˜‰

I find it quite engaging especially on the close run games!!

Yep, I've been watching it where possible. Missed Hankey vs Chissy last night though.

Can't help but think no matter how good the BDO matches are...all the best players defected to the PDC and now we're effectively watching Championship level darts on the BBC.

I find it quite uplifting that even fat, sweaty, greasy, ugly working class blokes, who otherwise would have no hope in life beyond lorry driving are on prime-time telly earning loads of dosh ๐Ÿ™‚

Very cathartic to watch (while I'm doing some exercises).

I love a bit of darts as i've played it (to a fairly high standard) loads ever since i was little. As has been said though, the BBC darts does not have the best players anymore - they're all on Sky trying to beat Taylor.

Having said that the Hankey/Chizzy match last night was excellent viewing.

I'd pay for sky sports just for the darts but i refuse to pay the subsciption which is mostly to cover the football.

The womens darts however, is terrible and i can't for the life of me see why they have their own tournament when there is no physical reason why darts is any harder for women than men? Even i could get a fair fews legs off the ladies....

That people watch this sh*t is reason enough that some other sports get no airtime on the BBC, yet pubs games get hours/days every year.

I was impressed with Chizzy after the break last night, he needs a decent nickname though . . .

Chizzle me Nizzle?

Hanky game was ok last night, but its not a patch on PDC ...... Plus I have the walk on girls as my buddies on bookface!

I used to play super-league level in Staffs and to be fair, most of those players could get to the quarter finals of a BDO event.

PDC was a Barry Hearn brakeaway few years back, got Sky involved and the cash, made it great again. the PDC superleague is nearly worth stopping in for on a Thurs and missing the nightride.....thank god for sky +. the BDO or old version has had its day I reckon.....
