Just been up to the highest point on Woodhead Pass to see what it looks like for a 10 mile trip up the Snow Road and along Outer Edge round to Cut Gate on the cross country skis in the morning. Its -5 and the snow is about 2 ft thick. 2nd time out on skis in 12 months following 10 years of sitting in the garage, it will be a change to go over this area without sinking knee deep in peat and getting lost in the hundreds of cloughs. Looking forward to a pint in the Dog and Partridge after. That is all.
