Heading up there this weekend and thought we would start off with a few jars in the Belgium Monk but has anyone else got any suggestions of anywhere else decent to have a few beers on a Friday afternoon/evening ?

Pub name & address or link to website would be handy.

Cheers 😛

I think that there's a Fat Cat in Norwich, if there is its a fantastic real ale pub and well worth a visit.
I've fond memories (well blurs) of the one in Ipswich. It isn't a chain, the pubs are owned by brothers I think

Here's a few...

The Coach & Horses on Yarmouth Road
The Fat Cat - a great pub
The Murderers - in the City centre

or try NorwichTonight.com for recommendations.

I lived for a year in a house that virtually bordered on the fat cat - unfortunately I had not got into the ales then so rarely used it. My biggest regret in life thus far.
