Unfortunately, you can't polish a turd.
Might as well sell Chocolate covered cardboard. 🤣

I'm not a Rich Tea fan.

Yes to malted milks. 'One dips' are far too risky though.

I was going to say rolling a turd in glitter. Chocolate belongs on digestives.

I was disappointed. The chocolate somehow didn't work the way it does with a digestive or a malted milk. I prefer the standard variety.

Got some. I is disappoint.  Not only is it a rich tea (what are poor tea like FFS), but the chocolate is only about 6 microns thick. Misery biscuits.

Indeed. Proper thick chocolate not like the war time rationing austerity biscuits recommended by the OP.  Have you tried the Baileys flavoured Liebniz? Better than they sound.

Misery biscuits

My mum told the story, that many, many years ago,she was sat on an Edinburgh bus behind two 'Morningside' ladies.
They were discussing biscuits, one of them was aghast that a friend had once offered her a Rich Tea.
"Poverty Biscuits" she exclaimed.
We have called them that ever since👍🤣

Custard creams and jammy dogers are pretty **** too, its got to be said. Ginger biscuits... appalling.

Fox's Golden Crunch on the other hand... the fella that invented those needs a knighthood (even if I'm a Republican)

Custard creams are possibly the highest calories per pence known to man and also absolute beauties of a biscuit.

Ginger nut base cheesecake demonstrate the great versatility of a fantastic biscuit

Home mad ginger nuts dipped in plain chocolate last five minutes in this house

On plain biscuits, I'm quite partial to:

Lincoln

Shortcake (the rectangular jobbies with a diagonally crimped border)

Nice
