Hi we have in our house a very little used ps4, my son used it with his mate and did not shut it down correctly, turned it on to use it and the controllers will not pair with the console.
I have reset the controllers, tried 4 different usb cables, another controllerfrom a working ps4 , started console in safe mode and done the first six options and still no joy.
Any one help before I smash it 😳
You can give this a try. Hold the PS-button and Share-button simultanously for some seconds while the PS4 is turned on. This will reset all connections of the controller and searches for a new one.
Yep tried this and no luck 😥
Spoke to the playstation help line today and even though the console is only a year and a half old, its out of there 12 month warranty period!.
So I can have "a unit that has been sent back that had fault or faults and refurbished with a three month warranty for £125".
What a joke.
