If you read the report, he appears to have gone round a corner, taken his kit off THEN gone back to talk to her. The sheriff said "It is clear that there was a sexual element to this offence” so there is obviously more to what happened than 'just a prank'.
If he had done the same as a non-cyclist would you still be defending him?

Seeing a naked postpubescent male can be a seriously traumatic and disturbing experience for an 11 year old girl. Specially if it is a stranger and, she has never seen the naked male body before.
Moreover, a 17 year old can be highly intimidating to an 11 year old, so the sight of one approaching to speak to her after removing all his clothes, must have been terrifying for the 11 year girl all alone.
She obviously had no idea what he wanted or whether he was a nutter or rapist, other than he wanted to talk to her.
Clearly this idiot did it for the sexual thrill and satisfaction, and I consider his successful conviction to be "taxpayers money" very well spent. He needs to find other ways to getting off other than sexually intimidating young girls.

This was no 'accidental sighting' as the wierd git in question saw her, rode around the corner to take his clothes off & then came back towards her with the determined intent to talk to her.
If this was your 11-yr old daughter exactly how dismissive of this 'prank' would you be?
He's a **** frightening a little girl like that.Many a dad would have beaten him senseless, me included for a stunt like that .He got what he deserved.
