The film does have something about it; loved it since I first saw it around 14yrs old & don't get tired of it. Good old prosthetics (+ the all time great goof of Carl Weathers' clearly visible right arm just after he was 'relieved' of it)

A classic proper actions flick and one of the first Blu-Ray films I bought. The "shooting up the forest" scene is a great test for your HD TV and sound system (to the max!). Don't think my neighbours appreciated that one....

Factet - the guy who played the Predator, also played Harry (Bigfoot) in Bigfoot and the Hendersons. He also died of an AIDS related illness in 91 @ 35 YO 🙁
If you like Predator you should like Split Second with Rutger Hauer. Hard to get hold of but worth it.
The difference being that split second is SHIT. 🙄
The only other actioner that comes close is First Blood AFAIC.
