Enjoying a bit of a false Spring today in Cardiff. Wall to wall sunshine and my car showed 13c for a few moments around midday.

I know (as proven by last year) we could be knee deep in snow in a week or at least freezing in sun-zero temps for weeks yet, but it’s nice whilst it lasts.

Cycled into work wearing shorts today. But then I do whatever the weather - sometimes I apply kneewarmers...

I've not worn trousers to work for over 3 years now.

I would say I had the wettest commute of the year this morning, but that wouldn't be very impressive. Certainly the wettest commute since the summer heatwave of last year

I’m that guy other than when at work. If I could wear shorts to work I would. Just prefer shorts and my shins don’t get particularly cold.

I was over Avebury a week ago, it was blowing half a gale, with the temperature around freezing with a windchill making it feel bitterly cold. There was a group of people walking towards me along the top of the embankment, all bundled up, apart from one bloke with a fairly light jacket, beanie, shorts and boots. As I passed, I said to him “sir, you’re a braver man than me!”, and one of his friends said, “he’s Welsh, what can you expect!”.
Made me laugh, anyway.

Shorts for work here - Northumberland/Cumbria border. My colleague and I started about 4 years ago and it's been a 'Who blinks first' situation ever since. All weathers, except if I'm visiting customers....

I just wear shorts as I cycle to work and they're so much more practical, no faffing with cycle clips etc. It also means I can cycle as hard as I like and no get sweaty thigh syndrome when I get into the office...

Always wear shorts on the commute. I have made a slight concession to the -10 C start by moving to winter bib longs underneath and, to be honest am glad i did. Shorts though, essential. I love my Endura Humvees. They have the best pockets.
