I am putting together a design for a PPT presentation for a client. I recall you can set up 'Title master' and 'Slide master' pages (ie, one design for the cover page and another for contents pages).
Can anyone quickly explain how (the Microsoft online help is proving useless as always).
Cheers

Slide Master
Go to View - Master - Slide Master, and build your master slide.
Then to get to the title master, click the "Insert Title Master" button (it's like 2 little slides overlapping, 2nd button from left) on the slide master toolbar to add the Title slide, then do what you want to that.
That any help?
Nope still makes no fricking sense to me! Will be plan B soon - botch it...
m-f, what don't you get fro what yyb said? Title and slide master are two different things. A title slide is just a slide layout, like title only or title plus bulletted text etc. Slide master is what you select from the menu bar to include things you want to appear on all slides, like page numbers, logos etc
I understand what is being said - I know they are different things. I just don't 'get' PowerPoint'. I think I have it sort of sorted though thanks.
I think it is mainly because PP has changed quite a bit since I last used it.
