Right, this software is doing my head in. I'm doing some basic sketiches for a presentation that involves drawing lines between a objects. Unfortunately this infernal program keeps snapping the line to connection points rather than putting the lines [b]where I tell it to[/b]. Does anyone know how to switch this functionality off as the help funtion and other parts of teh internet are being less than helpful!
in 2003 it was in the Draw toolbar, Draw>Grid & Guides> Snap to... choose grid or other objects.
Cant be sure its the same in 2010.
turn snap to shape/object off and also do not use the 'connector' lines just ordinary lines
All snaps are off and there is only one type of line that I can see.
Got a workaround for now though.
