hi i just won a item on ebay postage cost is £15 which is fine (despite the item being conker sized). seller has now said postage insurance is another fiver, is this a realistic cost as in the uk thats expensive.

Seems a lot, however if its jewellery there is compulsary insurance on it as, due to customs sticker saying whats in it, jewellery gets stolen a lot.
I'm in NZ so if there is owt I can do to help, let me know.

hi brainflex thanks for the reply i figured it out as i looked on NZ postal service the guys not far wrong couple of quid. its a viewfinder for a camera so i payed the insurance

i sent back a box of (empty) panniers and racks etc ... cost me 200 quid .... OUCH !

so i could believe it being 15 quid for that size
