Hi I've just had a wall plastered in my bathroom, do I just slap the pain on? or I was told to water down some pva glue first for the first coat then the bathroom paint, is that right??

DO NOT USE PVA, it seals in the moisture, that needs to escape.

If its only a skim leave 2 weeks to dry first, if it's backing plaster leave 6 weeks to dry.

Then use a mist (diluted) coat first.

As an ex plasterer,no to the pva. I would suggest painting a skim after a week in a normal heated house, use cheap diluted wicks/b&q paint as the first coat will sook like buggery. Can't agree with flip's suggestion that painting after plastering onto the hard would take 6 weeks. You can see when it is dry.
