For years I have been using my Synology Play 14 (I think its the model), and then more recently I have been backing off all my families photos off to OneDrive. This way I have just one account to organise/pay for.
What I would love is a local device or cloud service we can all use into one place and I can sort and index in some way. The Play 14 is way to slow to sort.
Any advice out there for a whole family solution?
How many photos? What origin? What file size? How do you/family plan to look at them? What OS do you use?
4x iPhones, I think about 100GB of std iPhone size photos from over the past 15 years and small cameras before that. Viewable at the moment straight out of OneDrive. I am not sure what the options are.
Mine upload to Google, and I pay about 2€/month. For that I get indexing, location and text based search, etc.
