The only date is the one in NYC so far but pretty sure they'll be doing a 'world' tour from what I can gather off the geek websites

I'm not too exicted. Always felt their music to sound a little pedestrian.

Good news - great, great band in their day. First three albums are right up there with the best stuff of the 90s.

Saw them a couple of times mid 90s - first time supporting Sonic Youth in Manchester and they were awesome from what I remember. Second time headlining (I think) at Brixton academy, after the first drummer left.

I almost wet myself when I heard. Who's up for a trip to the US?

"Pigs, they tend to wiggle when they walk the infrastructure"

Lets have you're favorite Pavement lyrics.

'the infrastructure rots and the owners change the locks' is that the next line?

LoulaBella you're very close.

'the infrastructure rots and the owners hate the jocks'.

'Children in electric dresses are insane, they break into crematoriums and smoke the remains'

H.

and the owners hate the jocks, with their dates...

What about the voice of Geddy Lee? How did it get so high? I wonder if he speaks like an ordinary guy? I know him and he does. Well you're my fact checking cuz...

I vent my spleen at the lord, he is abstract and bored.

the grammar police set me up with your niece

genius.

Out on my skateboard the night is just hummin
And the gum smacks are the pulse Ill follow if my walkman fades
But Ive got absolutely no one, no one but myself to blame

Really hope they tour here.

I just went to see Steve Malkmus and the Jicks play on Friday night. Solid show, and much better live performance than I remember Pavement being, but the songs lacked that punch/hook. I'd love to see Pavement again.

We took a giant ramrod and razed the demon settlement.
