So, for various tedious reasons I’ve got two pairs of part worn tyres (one winter, one summer) for my last car that are taking up space.
They both look like they’ve got a bit of life left in them and I’ve eBayed surplus tyres in the past, but I gather there are a load of new rules about what you can and can’t resell now.
Any suggestions how I get rid? As above I don’t think they’re quite ready for the tip yet.
Independent garage? There's a tyre fitter near me which sells them (and has done so for as long as I can remember) so presumably they must buy them too.
There's an advert for two winter tyres on the classifieds notice board at my local Tesco. Maybe buy those and you'll have a complete set. 😁

Do garages buy these, or does anyone know a reason I can’t put them on the ‘Bay?
If they are premium 225/40 r18 I will take them, then again another £40 to fit them seems to be the going rate for 15 mins work

i gave my local part-worn place a part-worn tyre in exchange for fitting another tyre I had to my car. so they'll buy them for ~£10-15 each
What new rules?
There's plenty of private sellers on eBay and even a few dealers selling used Land Rover tyres.
There's something about them having to have a pressure test and be marked as part worn.
TBH if I could get £10-15 a tyre that would do me.
