What do you use when you need to send a parcel?

Ive always used the local post office, partly as there is one fairly close to work, partly as i like to support the post office.

But having just got back from sending a couple of packages, the prices and size restrictions are getting beyond a joke 6.5kg, via 48hr, £16!! So i just shifted a frame on for £34, less paypal costs, less my time and packaging. I should have taken it to the scrapyard and had it weighed in.... And im told that parcel force have not yet put thier prices up.

I have been using P4D recently, as seemed to quote cheaper prices than Parcel2go. Very good service on sending a wheelchair, via ParcelForce, and iMac, via CityLink.

Parcel2go.com give all the usual suspects rates in one place and it gets collected from you too.

£16 for posting a frame sounds about reasonable - it's the volume you pay for, not the weight.
