Anyone know if I can paint a satellite dish. Ours is looking a bit on the tatty side - faded and a bit rusty so just wondered if it can be tidied up.

I've certainly seen some painted ones. Flowers would be nice 🙂

Yes you can, ensure you don't paint the LNB and be prepared for some signal degredation, but it should be ok if signal strength is currently ok

As long as you use a paint without any metallic content - it'll be fine

There won't be any signal degradation - I'm not sure why you say don't paint the LNB?
We paint all our dishes [& LNBs/SSPAs] without any signal loss

I wouldn't use Hammerite
Only because the stuff I've seen looks a bit metalic

Non-metallic car paint/primer will do

Wouldn't metalic paint be good, after all the dish is made of metal in the first place?

matallic paint will affect the signal.
