Whats the best martial arts film in your opinions?
just watched fearless with jet li and i live it
any more?
Master of the Flying Guillotine's is a bit of a classic.
Still time to edit "live" to "love" unless you really are living it, on which case, as you were...
Hero
I quite liked fearless too.
Drunken Master?
Iron Monkey?
Basically old-style Hong-Kong ones.
That said, District 13 was pretty good for a more modern twist.
i loved prodigal son (as i love all the classic hk films)
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Any die hard hk fans seen The Hot The Cool and The Vicious? This and MOTFG's stand out from a couple of hazy teenage years watching a lot of kung fu.
Drunken Master is a definite classic.
I quite like House of flying daggers myself.
2nd Drunken Master. But The 36th chamber of shaolin is better.
Kung fu panda and blood sport
I'm going with kung fu panda as well. Those old Hong Kong ones were far too unrealistic.
Quite fond of Bloodsport.
Kung Fu Hustle is fun
Hero
Iron Monkey
Once Upon a Time in China
In terms of action only, Ong-Bak has to be up there - some pretty impressive moves in that. DVD special features also worth watching, if only to hear the participants 'talking' about their full-contact regular bouts in Thailand...
Completely preposterous plot, though.
Surely The Karate Kid for the incomparable Mr. Miyagi!
