can anyone recommend some decent ones?
I'm listening to XFM for the first time in ages and it's poor.
wfmu.org or Resonance?
Triple j from Australia is good.
Resonance is closed for repairs and wfmu needs me to download various stuff which I'm not keen on doing at work, so I'm trying triple j (which is playing the new Arctic Monkeys album which is a good start!)
thanks but feel free to suggest any more
Can you not just use http://www.spotify.com/en/
It's where all the cool kids are these days - it has a kinda 'radio-mode' too.
We used to have Spotify but work blocked access to it a couple of months ago because everyone was using it and it was putting too much strain on the servers!
Planet Rock for all your poodle permed needs!
Doh, I listen to these sometimes

Phonic.fm - Exeter based FM and internet community radio. Totally non-commercial, no adverts, no playlists, really good and wide variety of music. Some of the presenters can be a bit amateurish - but they are all volunteers, and it's all done with such a good vibe 8)
I do a sunday night show 8-10pm......... www.phonic.fm
whilst the 23 year old secretary is away (who insists on subjecting us to Tyncher Stryder and Neo) I am mostly listening to BBC6 Music although every other song seems to be the new Muse Uprising song at the momement but at least Cerys is on at 1.00pm
A handy tip is to use google reader to subscribe to podcasts, you can then listen to them streamed through the web page.
http://propersongs.blogspot.com/ is a good one to start with
