These are pretty funny.  According to teams, on a call last Monday I said 'but' nine times in a row followed by 'hold on' three times.

Its a great way of finding out what your annoying speaking habits are!

I dunno if I want to know about that ^.

Perhaps a great way of finding out how bad AI is at listening to you. And if you throw strong regional accents and second-lang speakers into the mix, it all gets even worse.

Well, I don't have a strong regional accent but I've heard a lot of bad audio, non-English accents and varying weights of Indian accent, and Teams has been surprisingly good at listening. It seems to be able to transcribe things that I didn't hear well listening live.

Yeah Teams/copilot is impressively good

I chair a big weekly meeting where I have to present to 10+ people, do loads of complex calculations on the fly off screen, get a bunch of those people to agree on certain things and prior to using Copilot, take a bunch of notes so I can write up the meeting minutes afterwards

Something always had to give. Either my notes were crap because I was so focussed on other stuff, or the notes were great but I'd make mistakes in the presentation side.

The transcript and AI notes have been an absolute game changer, and my stress levels during the meeting are massively reduced. A bit of sense checking the notes afterwards is far better than the spinning plates scenario I used to deal with and the notes are far better than anything I could do

Definitely needed - I presented a paper at a recent meeting that was discussed at length. In the Copilot transcribed minutes it reported my item as “no update” and all the points from my agenda item were in AOB. Not a biggie in the sense that it did do a good job of catching everything, just not always putting it in the right place.

We were discussing this at work today, someone read out a meeting transcript which had misheard "assessment" as "repression".

We look forward to seeing you for your repression.

Hmmm.
