just reinstalled Vista after switching over my HD with a new (bigger) number
now my laptop doesn't recognise my Nvidia GeForce Go 6100 graphics card......any ideas on how to reinstall it?

Probably just needs the driver re-installing, go to your laptop manufacturers website to download it, its probably a machine specific driver so the Nvidia ones on their website might not work.
