As above really. What do you think.? Any real life difference over core2.?
Currently building a small form/media machine for the lounge. Can't decide between core2 (as the prices of the mobo's ect... have plummeted) or the new i3.

media machine, buy an aspire revo 3600 and be done with it.
Cheap (£150), low power (idles at 20W) and will handle HD content.
I have one running with mythtv to act as a PVR (with a usb tuner) and XBMC for handling iplayer and last.fm.
It's ACE.
